AFC Teens Conference
AFC Teens Conference (TC) is an annual gathering of junior and senior high school students for an exciting time of learning, sharing, and community.
This unique event brings together 700+ youth across churches, denominations, and geographic areas. Youth are also encouraged to bring friends who don’t yet know Jesus or are not part of a Christian community.
For 2 full days, youth are inspired and encouraged through keynote speakers, workshops, and high energy activities. They are challenged to deepen their relationship with God, live out their faith in practical ways, and serve one another.
It's not just about the attendees, AFC Teens Conference is run by teens, for teens. For a full 6 months before AFC TC, our teams of teen volunteers are mentored and trained on a weekly basis by a dedicated group of adult volunteers.
Why is this so important to us?

Empowering the Next Generation
This isn't just about teens sitting back and receiving content. It's about young people taking up the mantle of leadership and investing in their own generation.

Teen Volunteers in Action
Our amazing group of teen volunteers lead teams, facilitate Bible studies, lead musical worship, perform on stage, act as our digital media creatives, and much more.
AFC Teens Conference 2026 is happening soon!
Here’s all the information you need to know.
See you there!

What's Happening & When!
Rev. Dr. Kenneth Foo is the Director for Church Life and Leadership with Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec. Yes, the title is way too long. No, it does not fit on merch. After years of pastoring Chinese Baptist churches across the GTA (and sitting through an unreal number of meetings that somehow always had food), Ken now spends his time hyping pastors, helping churches level up, and asking big, real questions about faith, culture, and leadership in a world that never slows down.
Ken is big on servant leadership, finding your calling, and following Jesus in ways that actually make sense today. He loves working with young leaders and will confidently tell you that “the intersection of faith and culture” is not a traffic jam on Highway 401, even though it absolutely sounds like one.
When he’s not doing ministry things, Ken is a huge movie nerd, book lover, comic book fan, and a big theatre kid at heart who loves live performances. He also loves tattoos and is always down to talk about the meaning behind them (seriously, just ask). Ken lives in Mississauga with his wife Ann, their three daughters, his parents, and their dog, Seven (yes, there’s a story). When he’s not leading, teaching, reading, watching movies, going to the theatre, or planning his next tattoo, you’ll probably find him lifting weights, paddle boarding, or pretending that balancing family, faith, leadership, and pop culture totally counts as cardio.

Hannah was born and raised in Canada. Growing up with immigrant parents from Hong Kong gave her a rich perspective on both eastern and western culture. She spent 15 years living in Asia as a tent-making missionary, first working in advertising and then starting her own business. Now back in Toronto, she helps build small businesses, especially ones that want to include Christian values. She’s passionate about people, their stories, and how Christ can be an active part of the adventure. She’s the author of Wherever You Go: A Conversation About Life, Faith, and Courage. She enjoys rock climbing and witty one-liners.

Jaime Ting was born and raised in Mississauga. He attended TC 10 years ago but opposed Christianity and ran from God for many years. However, in April 2022, he had a radical encounter with God sitting by a river as he contemplated ending his life. From then on, he completely surrendered his life to Jesus, willing to be sent everywhere in His name. This led to a prayer journey in Japan, in July 2024, where God confirmed his calling to start and work on Barak Project, an online Christian ministry focused on creating content that inspires others towards living radically and missionally for Jesus.
He also holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology and is studying for his Master of Teaching at the University of Toronto. While his heart is with Barak Project, he continues to learn what it means to trust God with his future in a career he is not particularly passionate about. Each week, he also leads a young adults group and serves the youth at his church. In his free time, he enjoys working out, reading, drawing, skateboarding, exploring nature, and hanging out with friends.

Lorraine Lam (she/her) is a Chinese-Canadian daughter of a solo parent, with an education in music, sociology and social work. For over a decade, she has worked in Toronto’s Downtown East, walking alongside community members navigating homelessness, drug use, incarceration, poverty, racism, and systemic injustice. Her work is rooted in harm reduction, anti-oppression, and trauma-informed practices, and is continually shaped by the communities she is part of. She is currently a caseworker with Amadeusz, supporting individuals with firearms charges during and post-incarceration. She serves on the board of Building Roots and organizes with Christians for a Free Palestine: Toronto, Shelter & Housing Justice Network, and Toronto Overdose Prevention Society. Lorraine also co-authored a chapter in Displacement City (University of Toronto Press, 2022) and was recently nominated for the City of Toronto's Access, Equity and Human Rights Awards. Guided by her faith, she is committed to the long-haul work of systemic change and collective liberation through storytelling, consultation, and community.

Are you a little overwhelmed by school, life, the world? Maybe more than ‘a little’? Life is a lot, but you’re not alone.
In fact, Scripture reminds us that we are “surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses” – our predecessors who faced their own seemingly insurmountable struggles and hardship, yet persevered to leave us a legacy of courageous faith.
TC2026 will inspire us to fix our eyes upon Jesus so that we too, can “run the race marked out” with courage and perseverance, just as our forebears did. We will hear from ordinary women and men upon whose shoulders we stand today – a reminder that even in unprecedented times, following Jesus is not impossible. When we gather as a courageous community, we encourage and motivate each other to live beyond ourselves.
TC2026 is the 55th year of this landmark annual conference, so rightfully, we’ll be honouring the past while looking to the future. The Cloud of faithful witnesses is cheering us on to greater courage, greater faith, and greater love.
