About Joel
Joel was born in Hong Kong and became a Christian when he grew up in Toronto. He studied Electrical Engineering in Waterloo and worked in the high-tech sector in Ottawa before returning to Toronto to help plant Logos Baptist Church (York Region). Upon completing his M.Div at Tyndale Seminary at 2009. He is currently serving at North York (Chinese) Baptist Church as the Family Ministry Pastor. Joel is married to the fabulous and wonderful Jenny, and he gets his exercise from chasing his adventurous son, Joakim. You can find Joel wearing his bow tie on Sundays. He also enjoys photography, backpacking, motorcycling, soccer, and sci-fi.
