Pastor Ian Arienda-Jose
Junior Day 2 - My Parents are Driving me Crazy:
Ian Arienda-Jose was born in the Philippines and moved to Canada as a teenager. In the late 90’s he served at Yonge Street Mission for eight years, the last three years as the children’s director. It was there while ministering to inner-city children of Regent Park where the Lord called him to full time ministry. After YSM Ian served as a youth pastor for 2 years at St. John’s Chinese Anglican Church, and then served for 14 years at Toronto Christian Community Church. He is now serving as an associate pastor at Christ Emmanuel Community Church since 2018. With 20 year of youth ministry experience, Ian thrives on inspiring and equipping students and adults to love God wholeheartedly and live out their faith. He is passionate about building disciples for the kingdom of God.
Ian is happily married to Sandra and they are trying their best to raise six children in righteousness for the glory of God. He enjoys journaling, cooking, playing basketball, ultimate frisbee, and a kendama (Japanese wooden toy). We used to have a three-legged cat that I wanted to name “Tripod” but his wife said "No" to the idea.
