Internships
As you near graduation, the voices telling you what your next step should be will get louder. The pressure to launch yourself towards a particular path – whether getting more education, or building career momentum – gets more and more real. Those aren’t bad things – but your formation as a human being, as a Jesus follower, matters just as much.
AFC internships give focus and priority on your spiritual formation, your missional formation, and your professional/leadership formation.
Spiritual Formation
As an AFC intern, you are mentored, cared for, and nurtured in your walk with God. We know that your ‘doing’ for God, is an overflow of your ‘being’ with God.
Missional Formation
The hope and prayer of AFC is that the next generation be one that embraces their God-given identity in full, with faith that is courageous, lived out beyond themselves, resulting in the flourishing of all.
Professional Formation
You will be developed professionally. This internship is an opportunity to learn – it’s not a delay before you enter the ‘real world.’ It’s a stepping stone, to develop your ability to work effectively on a team, and make important contributions to a cause bigger than yourself.
Grow in courageous faith, and help others do the same.
