AFC Teens Conference

Days

Hours

Minutes

Seconds

AFC Teens Conference (TC) is an annual gathering of junior and senior high school students for an exciting time of learning, sharing, and community.

This unique event brings together 700+ youth across churches, denominations, and geographic areas. Youth are also encouraged to bring friends who don’t yet know Jesus or are not part of a Christian community.

For 2 full days, youth are inspired and encouraged through keynote speakers, workshops, and high energy activities. They are challenged to deepen their relationship with God, live out their faith in practical ways, and serve one another.

Teen-Led Leadership

It's not just about the attendees, AFC Teens Conference is run by teens, for teens. For a full 6 months before AFC TC, our teams of teen volunteers are mentored and trained on a weekly basis by a dedicated group of adult volunteers.

Why is this so important to us?

Empowering the Next Generation

This isn't just about teens sitting back and receiving content. It's about young people taking up the mantle of leadership and investing in their own generation.

Teen Volunteers in Action

Our amazing group of teen volunteers lead teams, facilitate Bible studies, lead musical worship, perform on stage, act as our digital media creatives, and much more.

Dr. Henry Ho
Henry was born in Taiwan and grew up an atheist and evolutionist. After moving to Costa Rica at the age of 12 and to Toronto at the age of 15, he heard the gospel. As his many doubts and questions were answered one by one, the truth dawned on him- there is a God, and He is the God of the Bible. Contrary to other worldviews, Christianity is based on solid scientific, historical, and archaeological evidence. Henry graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School and works as a family doctor. He preaches and teaches apologetics regularly at several churches and fellowships, and especially treasures the opportunity to lead workshops at TC. He is looking forward to answering your hard questions!

TC2026 Theme - Hebrews 11 & 12

Are you a little overwhelmed by school, life, the world? Maybe more than ‘a little’? Life is a lot, but you’re not alone.

In fact, Scripture reminds us that we are “surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses” – our predecessors who faced their own seemingly insurmountable struggles and hardship, yet persevered to leave us a legacy of courageous faith.

TC2026 will inspire us to fix our eyes upon Jesus so that we too, can “run the race marked out” with courage and perseverance, just as our forebears did. We will hear from ordinary women and men upon whose shoulders we stand today – a reminder that even in unprecedented times, following Jesus is not impossible. When we gather as a courageous community, we encourage and motivate each other to live beyond ourselves.

TC2026 is the 55th year of this landmark annual conference, so rightfully, we’ll be honouring the past while looking to the future. The Cloud of faithful witnesses is cheering us on to greater courage, greater faith, and greater love.

Voices of faith

“From my first year til now, KACF has been family to me. As I grow in deeper fellowship with God, it has brought about a natural overflow of joy to fellowship with brothers and sisters, sharing in the joys and burdens, and together to live as salt and light on campus."
