AFC Teens Conference
So much more than a conference
For over 50 years, AFC Teens Conference (TC) has brought youth together from all over the Greater Toronto Area to learn more about Jesus, go deeper in their faith, and be challenged to put their faith into action.
It’s a place where many teens encounter Jesus for the first time or in a new way – through dynamic biblical teaching, worship, and fellowship.
Diverse workshop topics expose students to different Christian ministries, perspectives, and voices that invite them to consider how to follow Jesus in today’s world.
Run by youth, for youth
TC is also a discipleship experience: teen volunteers are trained by adult mentors to use their skills and gifts to lead in various areas of the conference, equipping them to become the next generation of Christian leaders.
Though our hundreds of teen and adult volunteers come from different Christian communities, we are all united in Christ, serving together to see youth transformed by Jesus.

Our amazing group of teen volunteers lead teams, facilitate Bible studies, lead musical worship, perform on stage, act as our digital media creatives, and much more.
AFC TC Planning Team
The AFC TC Planning Team works together to prayerfully shape the direction of AFC TC2027. With a shared commitment to effectively serve students, families, and churches, the AFC TC Planning Team provides thoughtful oversight, helps vet and support speakers, and ensures AFC TC remains aligned with AFC’s vision, mission, and values.
TC Pastoral Support Team
The TC Pastoral Support Team brings together trusted pastors from diverse denominational backgrounds to offer prayerful counsel, theological perspective, and relational support throughout the planning process. This team provides an additional layer of accountability and care, helping ensure AFC TC is biblically grounded, culturally sensitive, and responsive to the needs of our churches and families.

Made for More
God’s mission to redeem a people for Himself and to ultimately renew all things through Christ. We are Made for More because we were made for God.
We were Made for More than we ever dared imagine. But if we’re honest, most of us live further from that reality than we'd like to admit. Ephesians 2 tells us the truth about who we are apart from Christ: dead in our sin, looking for satisfaction in all the wrong places, only to find empty promises and broken dreams.
But God. Two words that change everything. Because of his great love, God didn't leave us where we were. Instead, he made us alive in Christ, raised us and seated us with him, not because we earned it, but because grace is a gift freely given. This is the story TC2027 invites you into. It's not a call to try harder, be better behaved, or become what others expect of you. We are God's workmanship, new creations in Jesus, called to carry out the good works God has prepared for us.
Because the Good News isn't just that we are saved from something; we are also saved for something. God has redeemed us to live lives that display His grace and glory. The gospel isn't just an invitation to a personal relationship with God; it's also an invitation into the community of God's people, the Church, to take part in something much bigger than ourselves: God's mission to redeem a people for Himself and to ultimately renew all things through Christ. We are Made for More because we were made for God.

What's Happening & When!
Pastor Aaron was born in Calgary, Alberta; grew up in Vancouver, B.C., and ended up in Ontario when he attended Queen’s University in Kingston. After graduating, he sensed God calling him to serve in full-time ministry and attended Tyndale Seminary in Toronto.
He served as the English Pastor at Kingston Chinese Alliance Church and Markham Chinese Alliance Church before going to Scarborough Chinese Alliance, where he’s been for the past 12 years. Pastor Aaron is passionate about growing mature disciples for Jesus and also enjoys leading worship and playing music.
He’s married to his wife, Wing-Tse (whom he met when one of the elders at SCAC had a vision about introducing them), and they have 2 kids – Micah (8) and Verity (5). When not at church, he loves to spend time with his family, go fishing and play hockey or golf.
Rev. Joey Ho was born in Toronto and was invited to attend the RHCCC youth fellowship, AGAPE, when she was 15. She received the Lord two years later.
In her 4th year at Western University, God called her into full-time ministry. She graduated from Tyndale Seminary (M Div.) in 2018 and was hired to be the Children’s Pastoral Intern. In 2019, she transitioned to be the youth pastor and in 2026 she now serves as the YLD pastoral lead.
In her pastime, Rev. Joey enjoys playing Pokémon Go and making pizza/ sourdough bread. She also loves spending family time with her husband, Justin, and her two boys, Jace and Jonas.

Bursary
We never want cost to be the reason a student misses AFC TC. If finances are a barrier, please don't hesitate to reach out! We'd be glad to explore how we can make it possible for you to attend. We're so grateful to the generous supporters of AFC who've made this bursary possible. If you'd like to apply for a bursary, please send in your application and wait to hear back from us before registering for TC. We'll get in touch as soon as we can!

• Early bird registration: December 14 – December 31, 2026
• Regular registration: January 1 – January 24, 2027
• Late registration: January 25 – February 15, 2027
Refunds will be issued at 60% of the paid registration price, barring exceptional circumstances. No refunds will be issued after registration closes on February 15, 2027, at 11:59 PM EST.
To request a refund, email tc@afccanada.org with the following:
• Name of the registered participant
• Name of the person who paid
Please note: TC confirmation emails will not be accepted as proof of payment.
No. Due to high rental costs and insufficient demand, we will not be offering buses to TC this year.
No. TC is open only to students currently in Grade 7–12.
A Bible, pen or pencil, health card, a great attitude, and an open heart.
Yes. Lunch, dinner, and a light snack are provided each day. You do not need to bring your own food.
Please bring a reusable water bottle, as refill stations are available on-site. Due to food allergy concerns, we discourage bringing outside food. If special circumstances require it, participants will eat in a designated area separate from other attendees.
To help students fully engage with TC, we ask that electronics be used only for emergencies or as a learning aid.
Please call or text the TC phone at 437-455-6070 to notify us. Have the guardian’s name and the student’s full name (first and last) ready. You may also be asked security questions to verify your identity.
Attendance is taken daily during small group time. If a student is absent without prior notice, we will call the parent or guardian directly.
There will not be a parent workshop this year.
Instead, there will be a Parents Space that we are opening each evening while parents wait for their child. There will also be school and organization booths onsite for parents to browse.
No. To ensure the safety of all minors, only adults who have completed official screening are permitted to participate in TC.
During registration, you’ll submit a first and second choice for workshops. Placement is on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited space, and workshop placement is not guaranteed.
The registration fee covers full conference participation, including:
• Lunch, dinner, and an afternoon snack each day
• A specially designed AFC Teens Conference T-shirt
• Supplies and materials for the AFC TC experience
• Conference licenses, insurance, and technology rentals
• Speaker and workshop fees
• A year of preparation and training for our staff and nearly 200 volunteers
