Japan Mission Learning Trip

In partnership with OMF Canada, AFC invites you on a prayer journey to Tokyo, one of the largest and busiest cities in the world. We come as learners, hoping to see more of what God is doing through the global church and to pray alongside our brothers and sisters in Japan. Prayer for the nations is at the heart of this trip.

Following Jesus is not easy in Japan. Through our partnership with local Japanese churches, we hope to gain a deeper appreciation for what it means to “abide in Christ” (John 15:4). We will listen to stories, pray with local believers, and learn about both the joys and the challenges the Japanese church faces. We pray that God will reshape our assumptions about local and global missions, and that as we seek Him together, our walk with Jesus and with one another will grow deeper.

• Learn from, and be humbled by, God’s work in the global church, especially in a nation still considered unreached with the gospel
• Grow in your practice and experience of prayer
• Serve in Christian community alongside your team and local Japanese believers
