When it comes to short-term missions, we seek to take a posture of humility, knowing that there is much for us to learn and receive from the Global church. You can’t change the world in two weeks; but you can expand your vision of the world and your place in it.
Formed on the inside
These trips are out-of-the-ordinary experiences designed to shape us spiritually and stretch us beyond our comfort zones.
A 'mission' mindset
They also develop our ability to thoughtfully engage with the complexities of mission in today’s world, helping us think critically about how our theology of mission intersects with real missional practice.

Japan
Japan Mission Learning Trip
In partnership with OMF Canada, AFC’s Japan Prayer Journey is an opportunity to learn from the global church and to witness, up close, what God is doing in one of the biggest and busiest cities in the world. Prayer for the world is at the heart of this trip.

Vancouver Mission Learning Trip
In partnership with A Rocha Canada, AFC’s Vancouver Mission trip will be a mission learning experience like no other. You will partner with God using your head, hands, and heart, resulting in a broader vision of God’s mission as we immerse ourselves in God’s creation. Discipleship is at the heart of this trip.
