What is NeXus?
High School is an exciting yet challenging time of navigating changes, understanding your identity, and discerning your life direction. During these formative years, it is important to be part of a supportive Christian community that encourages you to grow in your faith.
Our hope is that high school Christian communities will be a “NeXus” where students can connect with one another. NeXus is for incoming Grade 9 students to meet Christian upper years at their High School and get information about the Christian fellowship at their school. High School Christian fellowships are environments where students gather to grow in their faith and be a witness to their school campus together.
NeXus is a connection point linking two or more things.
This connector event is for upcoming Grade 9 students who will be attending High Schools from the Toronto, York Region, Peel and Halton District School Boards in September 2023. Through this event, you will:

Meet Grade 10-12 Christian fellowship leaders across the GTA who can support you as you transition to High School

I can’t make it to NeXus, but I still want to get connected to the Christian community at my school.
Fill out the same registration form and indicate that you cannot attend as your option. We will connect you to the leaders at your school via email.
I am not in Grade 9 but I would like to be connected to a high school fellowship.

My school is not listed in this event. Can I still join?
Yes! If you are in the following school districts: TDSB, PDSB, HDSB, YRDSB, we would still love to have you join the event! You will get a chance to connect with fellow Christians from other schools.
Will there be dinner provided at the event?
The cost to register for NeXus is free! Therefore, there will be no dinner at the event, but some snacks will be provided. Please make sure to eat dinner before attending at 7 pm.

I'm an upper year (Gr 10-12) student, do I still need to register for the event if I want to attend?
Yes, please register using the same form and fill in the sections asking about your grade accurately. By doing so, it will help us figure out the total number of students attending and the right ratio.
